This stunning half-day walk starts and ends in Grazalema, centre of the Natural Park and the rainiest place in Spain... The going is rocky and steep in places, but we're rewarded with breathtaking views in all directions. After the first stiff climb, we drop down to the Llanos del Endrinal then wind gently up to Puerto las Presillas, with extraordinary karstic rock formations and ancient pozos de nieve, used to store ice. The path descends steeply to Puerto del Boyar, with sweeping views of the mountains of Cádiz, before looping back down to the village.
The excursion can be extended to include a saunter round Grazalema and lunch or tapas in a local restaurant (food and drinks not included). Longer and more challenging routes are also available. Contact me to plan your trip!
